Two articles have appeared recently on the PIC agencies ongoing development of a documentary about Alice Guy, for which they optioned my book:
The Women Film Pioneers Project, an database that includes "careergrophies" for numerous early women filmmakers from all over the world, is now live.
At least the first part (Phase I) covering the Unites States, and Latin America.
Phase II will include Australia, Canada, and much of Europe.

I was fascinated recently to find a blog and an article about how the world looked to the Victorians. Of course it wasn't black and white, as these films are, but still, they give us a good idea of what it felt like to travel through New York City or around the world before 1915.

The Be Natural Kickstarter Campaign now has eight updates. The update showing Pamela and Jarik, the documentary producers, looking at an original print of A Tramp's Strategy (Solax, 1911) is particularly moving.
