Vote to Induct Alice Guy to the New Jersey Hall of Fame

Tom Meyers of the Fort Lee Film Commission has asked me to pass on this request to my blog readers. The State of New Jersey has many residents to be proud of and every year a handful are inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame in different categories.  Building on the success of their efforts to have Alice Guy Blaché inducted into the Directors Guild of America, the Fort Lee Film Commission is now working tirelessly to have Alice Guy Blaché inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame in the historical figure category. Other nominees for the 2012 historical category are Aaron Burr, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Grover Cleveland, Irene Hill Smith and Annie Oakley.

The deadline for voting is December 31st, 2011. Anyone can vote by following this link, logging in, and voting.  Read more »
