The Be Natural Kickstarter Campaign now has eight updates. The update showing Pamela and Jarik, the documentary producers, looking at an original print of A Tramp's Strategy (Solax, 1911) is particularly moving.
Tramp's Strategy was only recently found and identified. I spent ten years travelling around the world, looking at films and helping archivists or collectors identify the footage they had. But after identification comes the huge step of preserving the film. As you can see from this clip, silent film footage is often degraded and shots are missing.
